Resume
Katrin Städtke completed her bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany between 2010 and 2014. After her bachelor studies she started to work in the polymer industry (Rehau Group) as technical assistant. During her master in chemical engineering for sustainable chemistry (FAU, Erlangen) she did an IAESTE internship at Wanhua Chemical Group in Yantai, China. In 2019, she completed her master’s degree with a thesis on the topic “Immobilization of different TEMPO catalyst for the conversion of bio-based chemicals” ,and joined Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Polymer Research in Potsdam, Germany. Since February 2020, she has been working as a research associate in the working group “Green porous materials and catalysis”. As a part of her doctoral thesis, she investigates the production of weak acidic ion exchanger from renewable resources, bio-based monomers and life cycle assessments.
